ipbot 1.0

I wrote this because I needed a way to keep the A records for irc.somewhere.example up to date. There are 2 IRC servers, and DNS is set up to do round robin. This IRC bot checks for IP address changes. When an ip address change is dectected I can then manualy update the A record.

As far as I know there is nothing else like this around. It's fairly simple, and you probably don't need/want it. It may be a good example for writing perl irc bots.

Here is a sample session, for more information see the source code (it's pretty simple):

Peedy Final

I'm releasing a "Peedy Pack". I'm including KGD Peedy 0.5.3 (the same as is already in the windows downloads) and KGD Peedy Guess 0.0.1. This will probably be my final release for any Peedy programs. The full Visual Basic 6.0 source code is included in the zip file.

KGD VB Echo 1.0

I wrote an Echo Server in Visual Basic 6 the other day. I made it a little nicer, and zipped it up today. I guess it might be helpful to you if you're trying to write a server in Visual Basic. It's in the downloads section.

KGD Peedy 0.5.3

I've added my Peedy program to the downloads section. It's pretty fun to play around with. In the future I plan on extending it with the ability to write simple scripts to control Peedy.

KGD delspam 0.3

I added my old program delspam 0.3 to the downloads. Maybe it will be helpful to someone. I mostly wrote it to teach myself signal handling and network programming (although I pretty much forget how to do both).

Anyway now that it's the summer hopefully I'll be doing more coding.
